Radio Airplay & Interview

Last week, my song "I Thought You Were The One" aired on Country station, WPOC 93.1 in Baltimore. Show host, St. Pierre invited us in to do an interview and played 3 of the songs from the EP!  I played a show in Baltimore that night and the interview aired right after! Here are a few clips!

You Would've Kissed Me by Now - Behind the Scenes

Interview - Spotify, Dixie Chicks, Family Influence in Music

After our Bmore trip, Sarah (sister & bff) and I headed back out to LA for the ASCAP Expo where I had the chance to meet & listen to some of my musical idols. I had the chance to ask Dr. Luke a production question (highlight)  & I met James Fauntleroy of the Y's (Rob Knox, Justin Timberlake) who recently wrote and produced Justin Timberlake's latest record "The 20/20 Experience." We even got to hear Lana Del Ray's demo of "Young & Beautiful." (nerd moments:)

The House of Blues - second show

Then Friday night after the conference, I played a show at The House of Blues on Sunset. Afterward, they asked me to play a second night, so I played again! Singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson headlined that night. Every time I'm in LA the most random things happen - it's always a bit of a whirlwind. So much going on & it's fun being here with Sarah.

Writing Trip to Catalina

Last weekend I was invited on a last minute writing trip to Catalina Island.  So I took a ferry to Catalina Island to write some songs with Jens Gad at his new studio. We had a writing weekend with Pop writer/producer Tat Tong & Jovani Javier (American Idol).
